Dermatology deals with diseases of the skin, the mucous membranes and the appendages of the skin (e.g. hair). The responsible specialist is the "specialist in skin and venereal diseases" (specialist in dermatology and venereology).

  • Shingles (herpes zoster)
  • Sexually transmitted diseases (e.g. syphilis)
  • Skin grafts (e.g. after burns)
  • Aesthetic dermatology (face lift, wrinkle injection)
