Lefax drugs relieve a variety of digestive disorders. They mainly help with painful accumulations of gas in the gastrointestinal area. Here you can find out the most important facts about the application and mode of action of the drug.

This active ingredient is in Lefax

The active ingredient in Lefax is the so-called defoamer simeticon. This dissolves the pain-causing foam by lowering the surface tension of the gas bubbles. This allows the gases to be better absorbed by the intestinal wall and excreted through the intestine. Painful digestive discomfort is alleviated. The drug is excreted unchanged after passing through the intestine. The Lefax enzyme preparations also contain some enzymes that are important for digestion (proteins: lipase, amylase, protease), which help break down food components.
