Travel preparation: Important addresses

Before you leave, make a list of the most important addresses with associated telephone numbers.

This includes:

• German consulate or embassy
• German speaking doctors in the holiday region
• Hospitals in the holiday region
• Health insurance, repatriation insurance
• Representation of the travel company in Germany and at the holiday destination
• Representation of the airline in Germany and at the holiday destination
• Credit card company, bank

Don't forget to take your most important private addresses with you. Do not rely on your good memory, because in an emergency these phone numbers must also be available to others.
