The bosom is an outward sign that a girl is growing up and becoming the right woman. Girls with small breasts therefore sometimes have the feeling that they cannot keep up with their girlfriends in terms of attractiveness and femininity.

How fast the bosom grows differs from girl to girl.Anyone who has been flat on top for years can get an enormous boost in upper size within a few months. A lot can happen up to the age of 18. In many cases, the matter will take care of itself.

Prominent beauties

But even if the breasts actually remain small, that is no cause for grief. There are many beautiful women who have a small bust size. Harry Potter star Emma Watson, for example, or top model Kate Moss. Curse of the Caribbean star Keira Knightley even banned her breasts from being inflated for movie posters on the computer. As you can see, breasts come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, everyone finds something different to be beautiful - and it is much more important than emulating a supposed ideal to stand confidently by your breasts.

Small brings advantages

If you talk to girls who have big breasts, they may even tell you that they'd rather have a little less bust. After all, having a small breast has many advantages. It does not interfere with exercise, as a large breast often does, and it does not cause back pain. You look slimmer with fewer bosoms. And also think about the future: a small breast will stay firmer and hang less than a big one. There are also guys who prefer smaller breasts.

Breast augmentation

There are now also special bras that you can use to visually enlarge your breasts. The cups are padded or contain gel pads.

If a bigger bust is still your dream, there is a possibility of breast augmentation. But it is very expensive and only possible when you are fully grown - usually when you are around 18 years of age. In any case, if you are under 18 you need your parents' consent.

A breast implant, which can be filled with silicone, saline or hydrogel, is used to enlarge the breast. In an operation, the implants are pushed over or under the chest muscle. However, like all cosmetic surgery, the operation involves risks. For example, wound healing disorders, bleeding or numbness can occur. In some cases the implants only cause discomfort after a few years because the body does not tolerate the material optimally.

The greatest risk after a breast augmentation is what is known as capsular contracture. As a reaction to the foreign body in the breast, the body always forms an elastic layer of connective tissue around the implant. In some cases this can harden and thicken. This is accompanied by pain and a feeling of tension. Then often only one more operation can help, in which not only the implant but also part of the breast tissue has to be removed.

Breast augmentation is no small matter - you should think twice about whether a little more bust size is worth the risk to you.
