The nationwide Mental Health Action Week runs from October 8th to 18th under the motto “Together over the mountain”. This year, the focus is on the families who were often exposed to particularly great stress during the pandemic.

For this and other topics from the field of mental health, numerous events take place both digitally and live on site, which provide information about preventive care and help offers.

You can find out which lectures, workshops, podcasts or art exhibitions are taking place in your region in the event calendar at:

Reduce fear of contact, involve those affected

The events are intended to help reduce fear of contact and to better integrate those affected and their relatives into society.

The offers are mostly free of charge and are aimed at all generations. They should motivate everyone to speak openly about their problems and to seek help. They also offer the opportunity to get to know help and advice in the area. Information on what you can do to strengthen your mental health so that mental illness does not break out in the first place is also part of the program.

Information and registration for the kick-off event in Berlin, which can be followed from 5:30 p.m. both on site (admission 5 p.m.) and via livestream, can be found at
