AIDS and HIV vaccinations

All content is checked by medical journalists.

People who are infected with the HIV virus but have no immune deficiency (AIDS) can get most of the vaccinations. If an HIV-infected person has AIDS, only live vaccinations are usually excluded. In the case of live vaccines, the germs are indeed greatly weakened, but still able to multiply. Under certain circumstances, they can harm an immunocompromised body.
