Ibuflam is an anti-inflammatory and pain reliever drug. The agent is suitable for the treatment of mild to moderately severe pain, fever and inflammation. Here you can read everything about the effects and use of Ibuflam.

This active ingredient is in Ibuflam

Ibuflam contains ibuprofen, an active ingredient from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This drug relieves pain by inhibiting the formation of tissue hormones (called prostaglandins) that cause inflammation, fever and pain.

Furthermore, Ibuflam influences the temperature control center of the brain and has an antipyretic effect. The excipients of the drug facilitate the absorption of the active ingredient into the body.

When is Ibuflam used?

The drug helps with mild to moderately severe pain, especially headache and toothache, but also menstrual pain, osteoarthritis and gout. In addition, the anti-inflammatory effect of Ibuflam supports the healing of inflammatory rheumatic diseases and other chronic inflammations (such as inflammation of the optic nerve). In addition, the drug can also be used for fever.

What are the side effects of ibuflam?

Despite the generally good tolerability, Ibuflam can trigger side effects.

Occasionally, gastrointestinal complaints such as heartburn, abdominal pain and nausea occur when using the drug. Hypersensitivity reactions with skin rashes are also possible. Furthermore, asthma attacks can occasionally occur.

Diarrhea, vomiting, constipation and flatulence have rarely been observed as side effects of ibuflam.

Very rarely gastrointestinal ulcers or, with long-term use, liver and kidney damage.

If you experience severe side effects or side effects that have not been mentioned, please consult your doctor.

You should keep this in mind when using Ibuflam

Ibuflam can interact with other drugs and should therefore not be taken without consulting a doctor.
